Skokie Valley Sail and Power Squadron

Class Schedule

Taking your boat out on the water requires more knowledge than simply climbing aboard and pushing off. By doing that, you are a threat to yourself and others. You can take steps now, to make sure that you are educated, and have the skills and the knowledge needed to not only take your boat out…but, return safely.

Skokie Valley Sail and Power Squadron, a unit of the United States Power Squadrons® (USPS), provides boating education classes to help you develop your skills, and provides the opportunity to associate with others who share your interests in boating, cruising and advanced seamanship skills.

Following are details about each class and the dates for the classes that are scheduled.  If you are interested in a class that is not presently scheduled, please contact our education officer. Go to the Bridge Officers menu tab of our website for telephone and email addresses.
